Pics
Here we are on Saturday at the North Country Triathlon in Hague, NY. This pic was right after I finished. It was a really hilly race, much more hilly than I had expected. It was Trevor's first tri. We had a great time!
Here I am with my stuff in the transition area.

In keeping with tradition...
I figured it was high time to blog. After all, it's been over a month. Just a quick blurb to let you know what we're doing. Trevor has started prototype and it's no fun. He's been leaving for work about 5am and then returning about 7:30pm. Just in time to see the kids and say "goodnight". And this is before shiftwork!! Yikes. Before he started working like this we were spending most of our time preparing for the North Country Triathlon in Hague, NY. It's June 26th. I'm really excited about it. It's my first of 3 triathlons this season. My big race is an Olympic (.9 mile swim, ~25 mile bike, 6.2 mile run) distance on September 18th. I did 2 sprint distance tris (.5 mile swim, 12 mile bike, 3.1 mile run) after Chloe was born so I thought I'd up the anti this time. If we have 2 more kids that means I'll be doing an Ironman someday. Hahaha...I'm pretty sure we won't have 2 more kids. But I might do an Ironman...who knows? Once you've done a tri the "tri bug" bites you and you're addicted. It's a fun, albeit expensive, hobby.
The girlies are doing well. Scar's getting so big and is full of personality. She's pretty resistent to crawling. She's got the longest arms of any baby I've seen. Instead of moving to where the toys are she reaches huge reaches and grabs them.
Chloe's a typical 2 year old. Her latest antic is using her toy box to climb onto the counter and go through the cabinets. Usually snacking on Scar's baby snacks. Potty training's been a huge bust. She had it for like 2 weeks and then decided she didn't want to do it anymore. I'm at a loss. Someday she'll use the potty regularly, maybe she'll be 10, but she'll do it.
I'll write more and post pics eventually. Thing is I'm not a huge fan of blogging. I do it b/c our families are so far away and it's a way to keep people up to date on what we're doing. But if you get the urge and just have to know what's up in between my monthly postings- call me!
