Chloe and Scarlett

Just had a thought to compare the girls when they're about the same age. Here's Scarlett a few weeks ago, she's about 19 months here.

Here's Chloe when she was 18 months.

Chloe had more hair and lots less teeth at about a year and a half. Scarlett has 16 teeth already!

What do you think? Sisters?

If you haven't read my blog in a while, skim through the older posts. I did a good one about Trevor coming home from his patrol (that's submarine talk for deployment).

Seattle cont.

More pics. Look closely, I'm in the red sweatshirt slightly left of center. Not sure what I was looking at.

Trevor being merry during our tasty lunch at Ipanema (Brazilian churrasco...foi bom demais!).

Me enjoying my favorite Brazilian soft drink. mmmmmm gostoso.

Strange, real-life tin man just outside the farmer's market.

Trevor posing.

Seattle

We went to the public market in Seattle. So cool! The famous fish market is there where they throw the fish and yell a lot. I liked this pic of the pretty tulips.

More pretty flowers.

Obviously I did a little shopping at 2 of my favorite stores.

The crossed Gs are Gucci if you didn't know.

You're correct if you guessed that these pictures are as close as I got to designer stuff during my trip to Seattle!

111th Submarine Officer's Ball

This past Saturday (4/16) was the sub ball. It's not all one big ball like the Marine Corps ball. It's divided up: officers, chiefs and enlisted each have their own ball. So the officer's ball was this past weekend. Since my mom is here (YAY mom!!) she stayed with the kids and we got to celebrate an early anniversary (4/30) and stay overnight in Seattle. Here's a view from our room on the 23rd floor!

Here I am all dolled up.

A close up of the do.

Here's my hunk of burnin' love:) with his Sergeant Trevor face.

We had a great time!

Scarlett's new room

Okay, so look at the last 2 pics first please. Those are the before pics of Scar's room. The previous owners had a teenage son and this was his room. Fine for a teenage boy, but not acceptable for my baby girl. Trevor and I painted (and primed) her room. I love this color!
