More Thomas pics

One of our friends at the party had a professional camera and took these pics.

An aerial shot of the party people.

I like this pictures of Trevor and the girls.  He is putting a James tattoo on the back of Scarlett's hand.

Thomas, the main attraction.  He pulled numerous cars behind him and we went for a ride.

The next two pics are of the girls in the bouncey house.  Scar didn't last long, which is unusual for her.  There were some big kids in there and she got knocked around a bit.

Cute Chloe.

Here we all are.

Mark took this picture of us as we were leaving the depot.  Arthur and Georgia ended up sitting with me and Trevor, while our girls sat across from us with the Johnsons.

Week's events

Just a cute pic of the girls enjoying their snack.

Our big deal this week was yesterday.  The girls' friend, Arthur had a party yesterday at a pizza place and then we went to the day out with Thomas the Train.  The kids all had a blast, although my friend Christie put it best when she said, "why do we do this"?  Good question.  It was an absolutely exhausting day.  But you can see from the pics that they enjoyed themselves, so it was worth it.

Scarlett attacking her cupcake.  And a shot of the party table.

Trevor and the girls in front of the diesels.  Please notice that this is the only shot of Trevor and the girls.  We had some issues getting the girls and me in the photo looking at the camera all at the same time.

"Come here Scarlett"

"No, Scarlett, come here please"
We finally all get where we need to be and both girls look off to the left.

The girls and Arthur.  The three of them are best buds.

As we were leaving Trevor got a couple shots of Thomas as he was taking off for another ride.  The train ride was about a half hour and went right past Snoqualmie Falls which was pretty cool.  We were on the wrong side of the train to get any shots of the water.

Also, lovely profile shots of my preggo belly.

My baby shower

Yesterday two friends of mine threw me a baby shower.  It was awesome!  I didn't expect one at all since it's our third child and another girl.  They were so kind to do this for me.

We're missing Emily here, she had already left.  Breanna, LaRee, Julie, Moi, Diana, Christie, and Sydney.  It was at Monica's bakery.

Me and Julie putting the bottles to good use.  Julie is one of my good friends who helped put the shower together.
Me and Julie again.

Me and Christie, she is my other good friend who put on the shower.  Her son and my girls are great friends.

I wish I had thought to take a pic before we dug in.  The food was really good.  Julie brought me some root beer, which was tasty.  The group was split right about down the middle, half were Navy friends and the other half, church friends- hence the coffee.

I was given diapers and really cute clothes.  Juliet's not going to have to only wear hand me downs.  Yes, we've decided on a name.  Her middle name will probably be Noelle.

Another friend of mine brought over a huge diaper cake last night.  Everyone was so thoughtful and I'm grateful to have a great group of friends here in WA.

Point Defiance Zoo in Tacoma

After the girls and I got back from our VA trip in April, we moved them into the same room.  Trevor painted Chloe's old room pink and moved Scar's bed in.  We have had such issues with them sharing a room, we resorted to good old fashioned bribery.  I made a chart with 28 days for each of them.  If they had a good bed time at night they would get to put a sticker on the chart the next morning.  After 28 good bed times we would go to the zoo.  There were smaller prizes along the way (happy meal, ice cream cones, slurpees), but the zoo was the big one.  We went to the zoo on Friday, 7/6.  Here are the pictures we took.

The girls loved the aquarium and the aquatic life.  Above is a fish tank with lots of Dori's from Nemo.  Below are walruses.  They are huge!  The biggest one is 3300 pounds!  They kept rolling onto their backs and floating around.  We got to see them from this view and also underground in the aquarium where it looked like they were swimming right at us.

There was a little playground where we spent some time.  Bird's nest-

Spider web-

An anemone-

Chloe's favorite thing is the merry go round.  We rode it twice.  I don't need to hold onto her anymore.

Scar and I kicked back in the bench seat.  I asked her if she wanted to ride an animal and she said "no".  She is having none of it.  So we had fun sitting.

You can't see it here, but Mt. Rainier is in the background.  It's beautiful!  You don't get to see it very often since it's so cloudy here but when you can it's magnificent!

Chloe was in a mood to pose, as you can see from the above and below pics.

In the shark's mouth at the aquarium .

Too bad Chloe is so dark in this one.  This shark was just sitting on the sand.  We all loved the sharks.

I'm proud of them for so many good bed times.  Trouble is, now that we've gone to the zoo and the chart is full- what do I do?  We have had bed time issues since Friday.  Any suggestions?

Family pic and preggo pics

I'm going to try to be better about blogging.  It's unfortunate that my last post was in December.  Geez louise.  I'll try to check in more than twice a year:)

Here's a family pic we had our sitter take last night before Trevor and I went out.  Chloe was in rare form.  Scar, of course, loves the camera.

Here are a few preggy pics of me. I have hardly any pictures of this pregnancy.  So far everything's going well.  I'm still instructing my exercise classes (step, cycling, yoga, and pilates).  I modify a ton in pilates and yoga and I ask participants to help me and sit in the front with me to demonstrate most exercises.  Step is getting a little more difficult and I tell my class "don't do what I do", meaning I keep my intensity really, really low and what works for an 8 month pregnant woman probably won't give them a good workout at all.  People are pretty understanding about it.  I usually do a sculpting class on Mondays and Wednesdays too.  I don't teach those I just go so that I don't completely lose strength.  My bp is really good.  I had preeclampsia with Chloe and fortunately things are going really well this time.  As of today I'm 35 weeks and a few days.  I have an appointment on Friday and then two weeks after that.  My doctor said since things are going well there's no need to start weekly appointments quite yet.  Fine by me since appointments are just one more thing to do.

We are getting ready to leave for church soon.  I'll have to post more pics of the girlies later.  Oh yeah, Scarlett's potty training is going really well.  Much easier than it was with Chloe.
