August 21st Trevor and I did the Crystal Lake Triathlon: .5 mile swim, 18 mile bike, 3.1 mile run. It was a pretty good race. My bike is getting a little faster and my running's getting better. The swim was rough. I was kicked and punched throughout the whole race. There's always the usual flailing at the start but I kept getting hit. Very unsettling. I finished in 2 hours 7 min and Trevor finished in 2 hours. He wasn't really happy with his time. His work schedule makes it almost impossible to get workouts in at all. Our last race will be on September 18, the Lake George Tri (olympic distance).

After our race we went on to Boston, MA. Saturday night we went to the New England Country Music Festival. We saw Sara Evans, Darius Rucker, Jason Aldean, and Brad Paisley. Pure awesomeness! On Sunday (yes, I know we broke the sabbath) we toured Salem. This is the witch museum. Very interesting. Turns out that Trevor had 2 ancestors who were accused of being witches in Salem in 1692. They died in prison before going to the gallows. I have an ancestor who was burned at the stake for being a witch in Europe.

Here I am in front of the museum. It's undergoing some construction.

Here we are in Salem. I'm quite proud of us. Usually we eat at the same types of places but we had lunch at an Indian place, very tasty.
